Tool Gig Poster | Print Design

I created this poster design originally for an assignment.

The task was to make a gig poster for a band or artist of our choosing, so I chose my favourite band: Tool.

The illustrated element of the design was created with ink on paper, the illustration was then scanned, the colours were inverted, and a gradient was overlaid on top. I then played with the blending modes to get an effect I liked.
